Maremma: Nature, Beaches, and Freedom
Staying at Podere Giarlinga means enjoying the best of both worlds: the peace of the Maremma hills and Tuscany’s most beautiful beaches just 15–20 minutes away by car.
Every morning you can choose: a walk in nature, a bike ride… or a day at the sea, among soft sand, fragrant pine forests, and crystal-clear waters.
And in the evening, you’ll return to the quiet of the farm, far from the crowds, under a sky full of stars.
OUR FAVOURITE BEACHES
We are happy to recommend the beaches we know and love.
They are all easy to reach and offer a variety of landscapes, from total relaxation to unspoilt nature:
- Cala Violina: one of Tuscany’s most famous beaches, accessible only on foot or by bike. Fine white sand, crystal-clear water, surrounded by Mediterranean scrub. (Reservation required)
- Baratti: a historic and charming bay with views of the Populonia headland. Ideal for those seeking clean waters and silence, with a touch of Etruscan mystery.
- Torre Mozza: an ancient tower by the sea, golden sand and shallow waters. Perfect for families with children.
- Carbonifera and Perelli: long sandy beaches, free or equipped, with shady pine forests for picnics and relaxing moments.
- Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala: more lively and well-serviced, perfect for a seaside aperitif or a more dynamic day.

Coming Home to the Podere
After a day at the sea, the peace of our agriturismo awaits you: a refreshing shower, an aperitif under the porch, and a Maremma-style dinner with a view of the hills.
No traffic, no noise, no stress.
And if you wish, you can alternate days at the beach with slower days, enjoying a bike ride or simply relaxing among our wash basins and cypress trees.
