Lovingly restored by the Gorelli–Lanoë family, the Podere retains the rural soul of the land, combined with a concrete ecological vision.

The spaces are welcoming and carefully designed to make you feel part of our family.

The apartments, furnished in a rustic medieval style, tell the story of the three historic districts of Massa Marittima: Borgo, Città Vecchia, and Città Nuova.

Here, life moves slowly.

You can relax in the greenery, walk among olive trees, read in the shade of cypresses, or unwind in our Kneipp area, created from an ancient washhouse.

Podere Giarlinga is also a Bike Hotel specialising in mountain bike holidays.

We are in the heart of the Massa Marittima Trail Area, a true paradise for riders of every level.

From here, dozens of panoramic trails start — from the easiest to the most technical — all immersed in the unspoiled Maremma nature.

We organise guided tours, technical lessons, MTB and e-bike rentals, as well as bikepacking, trekking, and climbing experiences.

Every adventure is guided by Simone, Joëlle, and Enea, FCI MTB Instructors and expert guides, to help you experience the land in an authentic, safe, and memorable way.

Dining: The Flavours of Maremma

In our restaurant, you’ll taste true Maremma cuisine, prepared daily with seasonal ingredients from our garden or trusted local producers.

Our extra virgin olive oil, jams, homemade pasta, vegetables from our garden, Chianina and Maremmana beef — every dish tells the story of the land around us.

On Friday evenings, we light our old wood-fired oven for rustic pizza with the flavours of tradition.

By reservation, we also offer special dinners with fish, wild boar, or Fiorentina steak.

All accompanied by carefully selected local wines, from Monteregio to Brunello.

The Sea Just Steps Away: Beaches and Villages

Maremma is also about the sea.

In less than 20 minutes, you can reach the beaches of Cala Violina, Baratti, Torre Mozza, Carbonifera, Punta Ala, and Follonica.

If you prefer freshwater, the enchanting and little-known Lake Accesa is just 8 km away.

We’ll give you all the tips to make the most of your days: from picnics under the pines to the historic festivals in nearby villages, such as the famous Balestro del Girifalco.

Simone

Ski, Cross-Country Ski, and FCI MTB Instructor, mountaineer and explorer, deeply connected to his land and its traditions.

Joëlle

Former MTB athlete, Ski, Cross-Country Ski, and FCI MTB Instructor, with a deep knowledge of Massa Marittima and its surroundings.

Enea

Ski Instructor and MTB Guide, born in Massa Marittima and raised between the Alps and the Maremma. He has a deep knowledge of the trails, forests, and routes of the Massa Marittima Trail Area.

Together, they have turned Podere Giarlinga into a place to live nature with passion, share stories, smiles, and sunsets.
